Spring 2009 Quarterly Chapter Meeting ...

The Spring 2009 Quarterly Meeting of the SF FBI Citizens Academy Alumni Association is Wednesday / May 27, 2009.

Where: Tarragon restaurant, 140 South Murphy downtown Sunnyvale, CA . Plenty of free parking and only a short walk from the Sunnyvale Caltrain station.

When: Registration, networking and catered buffet dinner starts at 6PM, the meeting starts at 6:30PM and adjourns at 8PM.

What: We have an outstanding and timely guest speaker from the FBI, Special Agent Steven Merrill. SA Merrill was assigned as the Assistant Legal Attaché (ALAT) in New Delhi, India at the time of the 2008 terrorist attacks in Mumbai, India.

Great Meeting!

The San Francisco FBI Citizens' Academy Alumni Association had a great kick-off meeting on Tuesday / Feb 24th.

We would like to thank all who took the time and made the effort to attend.

A special THANK YOU to SRI International for hosting the meeting at their Menlo Park corporate HQ. Another THANK YOU to FBI SA-Ret. Sylvia Marusarz for a great presentation on Economic Espionage issues.

February 2009 Quarterly Meeting ...

What: The 1st Quarterly meeting of the San Francisco FBI Citizens' Academy Alumni Association has been scheduled...

When: Tuesday - February 24, 2009 / 6:00 - 8:00 PM

Where: Menlo Park

This will be the first Quarterly meeting of the San Francisco FBI Citizens' Academy Alumni Association. We will introduce the Interim Board of Directors, discuss how the local chapter fits in with the National group, the evolving By Laws and the goals of the chapter. There will also be an update from the San Francisco FBI.

Meeting with President of the FBI National Citizens' Academy Alumni Association

On January 5, 2009 the interim board of directors of the San Francisco FBI Citizens' Academy met with Dr. Earl Motzer, the President of the FBI National Citizens' Academy Alumni Association.

We provided Dr. Motzer a status report on the developing San Francisco FBI Citizens' Academy, learned more about the role of the FBI National Citizens' Academy Alumni Association and discussed the upcoming FBI National Citizens' Academy Alumni Association annual meeting.
